Kristina Jasudaitė

Kristina was born and grew up in Lithuania. She studied photography in the Lithuanian Academy of Art, the Lithuanian Design Insitute, the Lithuanian School of Photography and finally she did a course abroad in the New York Institute of Photography. Furthermore, she studied Tourism Management at the Bournemouth University in the U.K.
As a traveller and photographer she visited over 40 countries all over the world.

Since 2008 she has seen exhibiting her work frequently in her home town Vilnius. She presented there several themes like in 2007 "Back in Time" of her visit to Morocco. In 2008 two major exhibitions found place namely "Traveler's Impressions of Sicily" and "Namibia, Symphony of Sand and Silence". 2009 was the year in which Kristina was chosen as official photographer of the World Sacred Music Festival in Fes, Morocco. In 2010 she exhibited again in Vilnius with the theme "Woman and Sea Connected". Underneath we present an extract of a couple of albums that she made over the years.


 
In her photographic expressions, Kristina tries to reveal this world's beauty, touches upon the themes of femininity, spirituality and human connection to nature.
In June 2011 the Alonissos Museum had the privilege to show her impressons of the island in a photographic collection with the title "P.E.A.C.E. " You will find a really wonderful impression of the opening night of the P.E.A.C.E. -exhibition in the chapter "Exhibitions of the past - 2011-1".
