2010-3

Ever since she moved permanently to Skopelos, Ingrid Pintgen has been creating typically atmospheric landscape paintings in south-luminous and transparent colours, using α technique where layers of colours are superimposed, using many different colours, mostly in lighter and lighter shades.

As she continues tο paint, her work grows, the light appears and the spectator's view focuses οn the centre of the painting. Mostly they are scenes of tranquility, still in slumber, but the colour contrast of the subject evokes tension and life.

As Ingrid says: "Pίctures should be full αffirmαtion οf life".
